We are Doggy Tales Whistler, a locally owned and operated dog care business dedicated to providing safe, enjoyable, and positive experiences for dogs in our community. We are expanding our services to Pemberton and are looking for a dedicated local leader to support our client dogs in this area.
Role and Responsibilities: As a Small Pack Walk Leader in Pemberton, you will be responsible for:
- Leading group and private walks specifically in the Pemberton area, ensuring safety, well-being, and enrichment.
- Demonstrating a deep passion for dog behaviour and body language.
- Maintaining a vigilant and attentive approach during walks.
- Keeping accurate records of walks, attendance, and observations.
- Note: While the company is Whistler-based, this specific role is to service our growing Pemberton clientele.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience working with animals (dogs specifically).
- Must be a Pemberton resident or have reliable daily access to the Pemberton area.
- Certification in canine first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain it).
- Valid Class 5 driver's license and comfort transporting dogs.
- Availability: Shifts (8:30 AM - 4:30 PM), starting 2-3 days per week.
- Physical fitness and stamina for outdoor activities in all weather conditions.
