Our client, a major Oil and Gas company, is looking for a Truck Terminal Operator to join their team on a 3-month contract in Fox Creek, AB.

Responsibilities
Perform daily facility checks
Perform operator basic care maintenance for facility off-load risers, strainers, pumps, sampling and storage
Preparation of Lock Out and Tag Outs for maintenance purposes
Partner with the Maintenance Team on preventative maintenance and ensure equipment is running efficiently and safely
Perform troubleshooting on equipment and processes and seek assistance when necessary
Trouble shoot the Dearman Terminal Automation System
Complete safe work permits (SWPs) and Field Level Hazard Assessments (FLHAs) for all maintenance and 3rd party work occurring at truck terminal
Periodically collect and record product delivery volumes and information into measurement systems
Support Pipeline Operators with pipeline pigging requirements stemming from Truck Terminal
Perform truck driver Orientations
Perform targeted inspections
Complete all required daily and monthly internal and regulatory reporting
Support in development and review of procedures




Work with the Product Quality Specialist to help with any product QC issues
Work with the Measurement Group to complete monthly meter proving

Business Acumen
Knowledgeable in terminal and/or plant operations processes with strong understanding of mechanical, instrumentation and electrical systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to provide timely and relevant feedback
Strong organization and time management skills
Builds solid collaborative and mutually beneficial relationships with all LI Facility, pipeline operations & maintenance staff, and the Control Center operators
Ensure a safe, supportive and productive work workplace between yourself and all other members of the team.
Support, promote and contribute to the continuous improvement of the business operations and relationships. (Sampling and MOC’s)
Maintain qualified relations with external parties e.g., Customers, Fluid Haulers, 3rd party services etc.

Pay: $40.00-$43.00 per hour
