Drive HR initiatives as a Human Resources Business Partner reporting to the Associate Director of People & Culture. This role covers labour relations, recruitment, and employee training at a county level.The Human Resources Business Partner will support Renfrew County through effective HR services in various areas, including policy development and health and safety. This position requires solid interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple projects while advising both management and lower-tier municipalities on HR best practices. Your contribution will have a direct impact on the work workplace and employee satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:
Support collective bargaining processes and understand collective agreements
Facilitate recruitment and selection for diverse staff roles
Provide insights on employment and safety legislation
Advise on corporate policies and performance management
Conduct workplace investigations and employee training initiativesRequirements:
University degree in Human Resources or related field
Four years of HR experience, union experience preferred
Knowledge of relevant employment standards and legislations
Robust communication and project management skills
