We are seeking a motivated Licensed Practical Nurse with a dedication for delivering compassionate patient care to join our team at Stuart Lake Hospital.

In accordance with the mission, vision, and values of Northern Health, the LPN promotes a safe, respectful, and civil working setting. Reporting to the Program Lead or Designate, the LPN provides nursing care to an assigned group of patients/residents according to policies and standards, functioning as an independent practitioner with access to RN/RPN support when needed.

The LPN assists patients/residents in meeting their physical, social, spiritual, and psychological needs, participates in developing care plans, assessments, interventions, documentation, and acts as an advocate. The role involves participating in meetings, assisting with orientation, responding to incidents, and performing clerical duties.

Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Days, Nights - 07:00 to 19:00, 19:00 to 07:00, Rotating

Nats’oojeh Hospital and Health Centre

This new facility includes 27 beds, expanded emergency, laboratory, and diagnostic imaging spaces,



designed to reflect local Indigenous culture and provide culturally safe care for residents of Fort St. James and surrounding areas.
