Job Description: The Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care. The Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse is responsible for promoting the Mission, Vision and Values of the Saskatchewan Health Authority through provisions of protected quality nursing care to clients. He/She is responsible to the Manager of the designated area.

Education

- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

Licenses

- Valid Class 5 driver's license




- Basic Life Support Health Care Provider Certificate (BLS-HCP)

Other Education and Training

- Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing is acceptable
- Nursing diploma is acceptable
- Psychiatric Nursing diploma is acceptable

Other Information

- May be eligible for Recruitment and/or Retention Incentives
- Preference will be given to nurses with community nursing experience
- Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
- Registered/eligible with College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of SK - CRPNS
- Required to obtain BLS-HCP within 6 months of employment
