Industrial Painter & Prepper

About Us:

The Paint Shop by Tru Kare Tank and Meter Ltd is a fast-paced, high-volume industrial paint shop located in Lacombe, Alberta. We specialize in premium industrial coatings such as polyurea, urethanes, and epoxies. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and reliable Industrial Painter & Prepper to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

Prep Work:

- Clean, sand, mask, and prepare industrial parts and surfaces
- Caulking and sealing surfaces as part of prep process
- Move and position components through the paint and prep process
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace

Painting Duties:

- Apply industrial coatings using:
- Airless and air-assisted pumps
- Pressure pots and cup guns
- Graco Reactor system for spraying polyurea
- Mix and apply primers, epoxies, urethanes, and polyurea coatings to spec
- Perform visual and physical inspections for quality control
- Maintain and clean spray equipment daily
- Follow safety procedures and ensure high-quality finishes

Requirements:

- Minimum 5 years of industrial painting experience (required)
- Strong understanding of industrial coating systems and spray techniques




- Skilled with airless and pressure pot equipment; polyurea experience an asset
- Able to caulk, seal, and prepare a wide variety of surfaces
- Physically fit and capable of working in a fast-paced shop
- High attention to detail and quality
- Steel-toed boots required
- All other PPE is provided

Schedule & Compensation:

- Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Guaranteed minimum 40 hours per week
- Lots of overtime available for the right candidate
- Wage: $30–$40/hour (depending on experience)
- 3-month probationary period
