Responsibilities
' Plan and implement engaging educational activities tailored to early childhood development.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children.
- Collaborate with parents and team members to support each child's individual needs.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and activities.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Support the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.
- Promote positive behavior and conflict resolution within the classroom.'
- Qualifications
' Proven experience in early childhood education or childcare.
- ECE must have Level1 or level2 Nova Scotia classification
- Vulnerable sector check, child abuse registry, first-aid level C
- Salary based on Nova Scotia Education and Early Childhood Development wage scale
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Knowledge of child development principles.
- Bilingual abilities are considered an asset.
- Certification in first aid and CPR preferred.
- Passion for working with children and supporting their growth.
- Flexibility and patience in a energetic environment.'
