The Electrolit 5K Foam Fest is coming to Vancouver Island! What is Electrolit 5K Foam Fest? The Electrolit 5K Foam Fest is not a hardcore race it is a FUNCORE race. Participants come to have fun with family, friends, and co-workers while running the 5K obstacle course through foam, mud, obstacles, and water!

Job description:

We are seeking outgoing, personable, and reliable Event Day Staff to assist in the execution of Electrolit 5K Foam Fest in your area. This is casual contracted employment.

- Date: Saturday May 30th, 2026
- Location: Lake Town Ranch - 8811 Youbou Road, Lake Cowichan, BC, V0R 2G0
- Start Time: 6:30AM
- End Time: As early as 12:00PM to as late as 4:30PM * Shift end times vary and depend on the assigned station which is determined the morning of the event.
- Rate of Pay: $18/hour paid by cheque following the completion of your shift.

Responsibilities: The morning of the event, you will be assigned a role at one of our many stations such as Registration, Gear Check, Kids/Festival area, Merchandise Sales, Start Line/Finish Line, Obstacles, Hydration Station, Parking Attendant.

- Interact with guests in a friendly, outgoing,



and professional manner
- Answer questions, provide directions, and support and assist participants
- Keep all areas tidy, organized, and safe
- Assist the Operations team as needed

Work Workplace: Electrolit 5K Foam Fest goes ahead rain or shine! You will be outside, on your feet, all day interacting with participants, obstacles, and Mother Nature. Be prepared for the weather, and be prepared to have fun!

Necessary Qualifications and Skills:

- English verbal communication skills
- An enthusiastic and optimistic attitude
- Must coordinate own transportation to arrive for shift start time and from the event following shift.

An Asset, but Not Required:

- Previous customer service experience
- Previous cash handling experience
- Valid lifeguard certificate or equivalent
- Valid First Aid certificate or equivalent

Pay: $18.00 per hour
