About Our Client

Our client is a well-established leader in the construction materials industry, specializing in supplying high-quality sand and gravel for a wide range of projects. They are currently looking for a talented Estimator to join their team to support growing project demands and ensure accurate, competitive bids. This is a great opportunity to work with a company known for reliability, safety, and excellence in delivery service.

- Location: Agassiz, BC
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- Start Date: ASAP
- Salary: $38 to $42 an hour
- Job Type: Temporary to Permanent

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

- Prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and overhead.
- Review project documentation to identify risks and apply appropriate contingencies.
- Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors,



and internal stakeholders to gather pricing and ensure alignment.
- Develop and submit timely, organized bid proposals with clear scope and pricing.
- Maintain accurate documentation of estimates, quotes, and assumptions.
- Track bids, analyze costs, and contribute to ongoing improvements in estimating processes

Qualifications

- Previous experience as an Estimator, preferably in construction or building materials.
- Strong knowledge of construction costs, processes, and estimating software.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail, professionalism, and strong communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively with internal teams.
