Ministry of Parks, Culture and Sport is seeking a Term General Tradesperson at Meadow Lake Provincial Park.
Under the general supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, you will provide general repairs, renovations to staffing housing, preventative maintenance and construct new buildings for the park. Duties include: Maintenance, new construction,
repair and renovations to park infrastructure.
You will keep records and logs of operation, repairs and materials. Must be able and willing to work in physically demanding conditions and perform physical labour, heavy lifting and climbing.
You will have knowledge of tools, equipment and regulations governing trades work associated with carpentry.
The successful candidate will be responsible, flexible and adaptable in order to meet recent challenges in the park environment; well organized and able to work well under tight deadlines; thorough, conscientious and attentive to detail to ensure quality work; reliable and a team player.

Hours of Work: B - SGEU Field 37.33 - one day off every three weeks
