Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Crane Operator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of cranes, including boom trucks and rigging equipment, to safely lift and move materials on construction sites. This role requires excellent communication skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Multilingual or bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply, as they can enhance team communication and client interactions. The Crane Operator will play a vital role in ensuring project efficiency and safety standards are maintained throughout all operations.

Responsibilities

- Operate cranes such as boom trucks and other heavy lifting equipment with precision and adherence to safety protocols
- Perform rigging tasks to secure loads properly before lifting
- Coordinate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure smooth workflow
- Conduct routine inspections of crane equipment to identify maintenance needs or safety issues
- Assist with the setup and dismantling of crane operations at various construction sites
- Maintain detailed logs of crane operation activities and safety checks
- Support other construction activities as needed, including forklift operation and mechanical troubleshooting
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations,



including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

Qualifications

- Proven experience operating cranes, including boom trucks or similar heavy machinery
- Mechanical knowledge related to crane operation, rigging, and general construction equipment
- Valid crane operator certification/license preferred; relevant certifications are a plus
- Experience with forklift operation is advantageous
- Strong communication skills for effective coordination with team members and clients
- Ability to work in a multilingual or bilingual environment is highly desirable
- Knowledge of safety protocols in construction settings and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
- Prior experience in construction or heavy equipment operation is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level candidates willing to learn

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: $388.03-$484.04 per day
