Daydreamer Wines – Wine Shop & Tasting Room Associate

We are searching for an experienced and motivated wine skilled to join our team. The ideal candidate will emanate positivity, be clean and organized, detail oriented, possess exceptional communication skills, and thrive in both a team environment and on their own.

About Daydreamer

Family-owned and operated since 2013, we farm all of our grapes organically, with a focus on sustainability. We have a hands-off approach to winemaking, creating world-class natural wines from some of the best sites in the valley. Our winemaker (co-owner) holds the prestigious Master of Wine designation – 1 of only 10 in the country.

Requirements

- Retail or hospitality experience in a related field
- Organized
- Attention to detail
- Professional customer service
- Passion for wine
- Fun and outgoing
- Ability to work weekends
- Valid Serving it Right Certificate
- WSET training preferred




- Fine dining experience highly valued
- Must have accommodation and transport.

Responsibilities

- Daily operation of the wine shop
- Opening and closing duties
- Offering an outstanding tasting experience for customers
- Presenting the Daydreamer story
- Housekeeping duties
- Packing up orders and wine club packs
- Organizing and restocking merchandise.

The position will start on May 15th and continue through to the end of October. Attractive compensation for the right candidate, including staff discounts and tips.

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour

Experience:

- serving: 1 year (preferred)
