Rollins Machinery, a lower mainland-based equipment distributor, is currently looking for a skilled and motivated Service Writer / Receptionist to join our team, at our Chemainus facility.

Wage is based on level of experience, skills and qualifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Reports directly to the Branch Manager in the Chemainus branch.
- Open & close work orders.
- Warranty administration.
- Respond to incoming phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately.
- Send & receive daily mail.
- Credit card/debit reporting - POS machine.
- Office supplies (order & manage stock).
- Assist customers with invoice copies & receivables questions.
- Reconcile credit card statements for Sales/Service & Parts.
- Process petty cash reports and maintain balance in office.
- Set up account #'s for new customers, and ensure records remain current.
- Keep updated on GST/PST info.
- Supply PO#’s for Sales.
- Banking deposits.
- Filing.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

- Previous experience as a Service Writer in the automotive or heavy equipment industry is an asset.
- Minimum 2 years of administrative experience.
- Strong computer skills with Outlook, Word & Excel. Knowledge of DIS Quantum is an asset.
- Committed to customer service, efficiency, service excellence, and achievement.
- Advanced proficiency in English (oral & written) is necessary for this position, for effective communication with customers, the service team and other branch personnel.
- Positive work ethic.
