Tasks and responsibilities:

- Assist residents with personal telephone calls at the front office.
- Greet visitors; determine purpose of visit, and direct visitor to proper location or person;
- Inform staff of visitor’s arrival; Assist with passive screening as required
- Answer telephone, take messages or forward calls to voice mail, and place outgoing calls as requested or needed using Home-specific procedures;
- Monitor arrival and departure of residents from the home;
- Perform incidental clerical work including typing, filing, delivering messages, sorting mail, photocopying, faxing, etc.;
- Assist with portering of residents on the weekends when there is a large event and to/from meals as required




- Assist with the feeding of residents as assigned.
- Be aware of all door and door reset codes and emergency codes
- Prepare mail outs
- Shredding of all confidential documents in facility.
- Complete nourishment labels for the Dietary department.
- Attend departmental team meetings as required.
- Prepare admission packages
- Other related duties as assigned.
- Call Bell Audits as assigned
- Completes Mandatory education.
- Prepares laminated signage for new residents (for towel bars etc.)

Eligible participants must be:

- Possess proven office administration skills
- Must possess excellent communication skills

WAGE: From $16.60 (under 18 yrs of age) $17.60 (over 18 yrs of age)
