St. John’s Walking Tours is looking for a friendly, engaging tour guide to lead visitors through the colourful streets of downtown St. John’s. If you’re someone who enjoys chatting about local history, culture, and quirky stories - and you love a good stroll - this could be a great way to spend your summer!

What You’ll Be Doing:

- Leading small groups on guided walking tours through downtown St. John’s (max 3km per tour)
- Sharing fun and fascinating stories about the city’s history, people, food, and culture (we’ll help with the research!)
- Keeping guests entertained, engaged, and safely together during the tour
- Answering visitor questions and offering recommendations for local restaurants, shops, and sights
- Coordinating with vendors for scheduled stops along the tour
- Encouraging guests to leave reviews and share their experience

Who Would Be a Outstanding Fit?

- You love storytelling and have a knack for engaging a crowd
- You enjoy meeting new people and making them feel welcome
- You’re reliable, punctual, and comfortable leading a group
- You have a strong voice and clear communication skills
- You know (or are excited to learn!) the stories of St.

John’s
- You like being active and don’t mind walking a few kilometers at a leisurely pace
- Experience in teaching, theatre, or public speaking is a plus, but not required
- Fluency in French is an asset but not necessary
