About The Job

The Office Billing Clerk's key role in organizing and coordinating the day-to-day bookkeeping and business operations of the firm ensuring the office and the law firm are functional and designed to maximize client care and provision of legal services of high caliber. This position supports attorneys and staff by overseeing bookkeeping administrative functions, maintaining billing and financial office organization, and ensuring the smooth execution of financial and operational processes.

This role requires excellent organizational skills, professionalism, and discretion handling confidential information.

Key Responsibilities

Finance & Billing

- Process client billing, payments,



and expense tracking, miscellaneous reconciliations
- Responsibility for all LSO and LAWPRO registrations and payments
- Responsibility for all insurance and law office financial matters under the supervision of the managing lawyer and accountant
- Assist with accounts payable/receivable and payroll coordination
- Generate invoices and follow up on outstanding balances

Required Qualifications

- Law Firm Billing experience
- Reconciliation and vendor payment and processing experience
- Following up with outstanding invoices for corporate clients
- Law Firm bookkeeping knowledge an asset
- Law firm administrative experience an asset

Location, Working Conditions, and Compensation

Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada

- Working Conditions: Full-time, 40 hours per week (In-office, Monday through Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm)
- Salary: See range provided.
