Join our production team at Creative Education of Canada, makers of Great Pretenders® costumes. We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Textile Cutting Technician to help turn quality fabrics into imaginative children’s dress-up wear.
About the Role
You’ll prepare and cut various fabrics (tulle, satin, organza, spandex, and more) using an Eastman automated cutter. Working closely with our sewing team, you’ll ensure all materials meet quality standards and production goals. This is a full-time, permanent position — not a student, co-op, or summer job.
Responsibilities
- Lay up and cut materials using CAD/CAM systems.
- Follow patterns and adjust techniques by fabric type.
- Check quality and organize the production warehouse.
You Bring
- Teamwork and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods. Quick on your feet!
- High school diploma required; experience with fabric cutting or CAD/CAM is an asset.
