JOB SUMMARY
My wife and I and operate two of the busiest and most successful hospitality businesses on Bowen Island BC...The Bowen Island Pub and Tippy's Cookhouse. We employ over 50 people on a full-time year-round basis. We take pride in having built a cohesive team of people who enjoy their jobs and stay with us for many years.

Currently we are seeking Kitchen Helpers who can assist with dishwashing, food prep and basic cleaning duties.

WHAT WE ASK FOR

- willingness to relocate to Bowen Island. Commuting will not work. We can offer housing options if needed.
- you must be valid to work in Canada. We are not currently able to support applicants who require LMIA. However student work permits and Francophone applicants welcome.
- a minimum commitment of six months of seasonal work... but preference will be given to applicants looking for full-time year round employment. We are busy all year round and can ensure stable long term, full-time employment.
- cleanliness by nature. Kitchen work requires people who are clean and respect proper food handling and personal hygeine




- easy to get along with. More than anything we seek the right fit of person who will work well with our team and add to the enjoyment of the workplace.
- functional english skills. Our kitchens are multicultural. For many english is their second language, but english it is the common way everyone communicates.
- be able to conduct an interview via Zoom or Facetime.
- Be available to relocate and start work no later than June 1st.

ABOUT BOWEN ISLAND

Bowen Island is an island community located just 20 minute ferry ride from West Vancouver. Bowen Island is easily accessible by ferry that runs every hour, seven days a week and connects directly with transit in Horseshoe Bay to take you into the city. Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
