The Warehouse Manager leads the warehouse activities. The manager oversees the efficient receipt, inspection, storage, retrieval, shipping and delivery of all inventory and equipment. This includes manufactured parts, equipment, raw materials, hardware, details and consumables. The Warehouse Manager embraces a culture defined by safety, quality, teamwork, and accountability.

Accountabilities:

- Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with STELIA’s policies and vision.
- Oversee shipping, receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Set and monitor daily, weekly and/or monthly objectives and communicate them to Warehouse staff.
- Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational polices and procedures.
- Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements.
- Motivate, organize, and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity and high performance in the areas of inventory accuracy, order receipt, demand fulfillment.
- Coordinate the optimum use of computerized inventory control systems and material handling equipment.
- Respond to and deal with internal and external stakeholder communication by email, fax and telephone.




- Keep stock/inventory control systems up to date and accurate by ensuring the completion of accurate cycle counts as per schedules.
- Review and plan future warehouse capacity requirements
- Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, environmental stewardship and security in the work setting by ensuring appropriate training is provided and procedures are adhered to.
- Plan and organize the daily activities of the supervised warehouse staff to include the scheduling of overtime.
- Coordinate the training and orientation of new staff on material handling equipment, health & safety, environmental and warehouse operating procedures.
- Set/achieve performance targets and hold staff accountable for meeting the performance targets.
- Organize workflow and institute and practice lean warehousing to eliminate waste.
- Act as a focal point for program material warehousing matters.
- Ensure that the warehouses are properly maintained with respect to cleanliness, packaging, location, identification, labeling, segregation, security and safe working conditions.

Qualifications:

- Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management (SCM) and related fields.
- 5+ years’ experience leading people or functions.
- 8+ years’ experience in manufacturing environment, preferably in aerospace or defence.
- Logistics and SCM experience including management of shipping, receiving, picking, security, inventory control, quality control,



safety and all other supply chain service requirements such as computerized and automated inventory control systems.
- Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Proficient in M365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) and ERP software.
- Action-oriented and willing to challenge the status quo.
- Strong decision-making skills and result-driven (safety, quality, cost) approach.
- Ability to create accountability and to lead by example.
- Ability to interact professionally with diverse groups and departments.
- Emotional intelligence skillset to connect authentically, communicate effectively, and thrive collectively on a daily basis and lead change in the workplace.

- Stop operations for safety or quality concerns.
- Supervise and evaluate performance of direct report.
