Landscaper - Seasonal (May - August/November)

Your responsibilities:

- Follow Company Policies
- Represent Spruce Acres with friendly professionalism by engaging with clients, teammates, and suppliers in a respectful manner while managing their expectations.
- Maintain tools and equipment
- Build landscapes with materials, tools and equipment provided
- Follow all company safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe work environment for yourself, crew, Clients, public
- Safely use power tools, lift and move heavy items
- Work in a range of outdoor weather conditions
- Stay up to date with required training and retraining
- Record and submit accurate timesheets daily
- Escalate Client or Employee concerns immediately to your Team Lead
- Collect and share photos and videos related to ongoing and completed projects through email and/or texting




- Other duties as assigned

What you bring:

- You share and demonstrate our values

- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Possess a valid Class 5 drivers license
- Have your own reliable transportation to and from job sites
- Fluency in verbal and written English
- Self-motivated and responsible
- Employee must provide and wear CSA Approved Footwear
- Employee must provide their own gloves in good condition
- Employee is encouraged to provide: rain gear, layered clothing, water, lunch, etc
- It would be beneficial if you have experience in the following areas:
- Construction/Carpentry
- Power tools
- Operating machinery
- Class 3 license
- Eligible to work in Canada

- Spruce Acres’ goal is to provide at least 30-50 hours of work per week, but may vary as this is dependent on Client projects and the weather
- Generally, Spruce Acres expects an 8-10 hour working day, usually between the hours of 7am and 6pm, Monday to Friday. Overtime is accrued daily for time worked over 10 hours or weekly for time worked over 50 hours, and paid accordingly.

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 4-5 months

Pay: $16.00-$27.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Stonewall, MB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
