Location: Nisku, Alberta

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

• Planned transition to 4×10 schedule (6:00 AM – 4:30 PM) targeting late Q3 / early Q4

Overview

We are hiring a Shop Labourer for a well‑established shop workplace in Nisku, AB. This is a long‑term opportunity in a collaborative team where foremen are actively invested in developing the next generation of skilled workers. Ideal for someone looking to grow and stay long‑term.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with general shop labour duties

• Operate overhead crane to move materials

• Masking and taping parts for paint preparation

• Shop cleanup (sweeping, garbage removal)

• Stock incoming materials and assist with receiving

• Lubricate studs and perform minor touch‑up painting

• Clear snow from doorways as required

• Support various departments as needed

Training & Advancement

• Start with general shop duties

• Cross‑training into the blasting department provided

• Previous sandblasting or industrial painting experience is an asset

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

• Comfortable working 8–10 hour shifts

• Experience working both indoors and outdoors

• Familiarity with hand and power tools (blasting, painting, grinding preferred)

• Steel‑toe boots required

• Reliable, coachable, and team‑oriented mindset
