HCFBDC needs experienced volunteers to help guide its mission of food rescue and distribution. This role responds to the growing demand for services across Huron, Perth, and Bruce Counties. Your experience in law or the food security sector will be invaluable in leading impactful initiatives to aid communities.

Key Responsibilities

- Participate in monthly board meetings, contributing insights
- Provide governance and support for financial sustainability
- Assist in fundraising efforts and strategic initiatives
- Advocate for food security in rural regions
- Collaborate with other directors on mission-driven projects

Requirements

- Experience in finance, law, or nonprofit sectors
- Commitment of approximately 10 hours per month
- Dedication to community service and food security
- Robust leadership and communication skills
- Passion for combating rural hunger
