Role Description

Age UK Sutton is an independent, local charity dedicated to supporting older people, their families, and carers within the London Borough of Sutton. Through services such as Community Support, the Dementia Hub, Prevention & Wellbeing initiatives, and Help at Home, the charity empowers individuals to lead fulfilling lives. As a part of the Age UK network, Age UK Sutton operates independently with a focus on local needs, securing its own funding to provide critical services. Guided by a board of trustees and supported by a team of dedicated staff and volunteers, Age UK Sutton is committed to enhancing the lives of older residents through practical support, advice, and social connection.n

This is a part-time (21 hours) position for a Business Support Lead (Maternity Cover) based in Sutton with versatile and home working options available.

Working directly alongside the leadership team,



you will play a critical role in the smooth running of Age UK Sutton, enabling staff and trustees to work effectively to maximise the impact of the charity. You will lead on delivering the business support needs of the charity, including:

- General support to the Senior Management and wider Leadership team;
- Board and governance suppot;
- HR administration, including running compliance reports;

- Is able to prioritise effectively and balance mutliple tasks in a busy role
- Is solution focused, collaborative and versatile
- Is able to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
