Mission / Your Mission

As an OHS Advisor, you will support the OHS Manager in implementing and monitoring health and safety programs for the Matawinie project, which includes the construction of the concentrator and graphite mine. You will conduct inspections, participate in risk assessments, support training and communication, and contribute to investigations and regulatory compliance. You will act as an on-the-ground contact to determine, report on, and improve the prevention approach in a compassionate and cooperative way.n

Responsibilities

- Support, implement, and monitor OHS programs.
- Conduct OHS inspections, audits, coaching, and awareness activities.
- Perform risk reviews and analysis and develop recommendations.
- Train teams and disseminate OHS information.
- Document incidents and follow up on corrective actions.
- Maintain OHS registers.
- Contribute to emergency plans and exercises and support response teams.
- Identify OHS improvement opportunities and devise solutions to reduce risks.

Your Skills / Qualifications





- 3 to 5 years of health and safety experience in an industrial, mining, or major construction environment. Field experience with OHS inspections, subcontractor monitoring, and risk management.
- College diploma or university degree in occupational health and safety, industrial hygiene, environment, or any relevant discipline.
- Knowledge of Quebec regulations and applicable standards.
- Good knowledge of OHS programs, prevention principles, and industrial hygiene.
- Recognized professional certifications (CRSP, CHSC, or equivalent); experience with particulate materials and industrial risk prevention is an asset.
