As a member of the Technical Operations team, the
n
Deployment & TechOps Specialist will support the delivery, monitoring, and maintenance of our software platforms in our Professional Services environments. This intermediate level role focuses on executing software deployments, performing initial troubleshooting of infrastructure issues, and assisting in the automation of routine operational tasks.nThe individual will work closely with senior engineers to ensure high system availability and will contribute to improving deployment scripts and internal technical documentation.

Deployment Execution
n
Manage and monitor the deployment of software updates across customer staging and production environments, ensuring successful releases and minimal downtime.nInfrastructure Monitoring & Support:
n
Provide first‑level support for platform health, diagnosing and resolving fundamental technical issues before escalating complex cases to senior team members.nAutomation Assistance:
n
Assist in developing and maintaining scripts (e.g., Python, Bash, Ansible) to automate repetitive deployment and monitoring tasks.nTechnical Documentation:
n
Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date documentation for deployment procedures, system configurations, and troubleshooting guides.nOperational Availability:
n
Participate in an on‑call schedule to provide support for critical system alerts outside of standard business hours.nCross‑functional Support:
n
Collaborate with the Support and Development teams to test patches and provide feedback on deployment tooling.nRequirements
n
Experience & Expertise:
n
1–3 years of experience in technical support, IT operations,
or a related field; recent graduates with relevant co‑op/internship experience are encouraged to apply.nFoundational knowledge of
n
Linux and
n
Windows operating systems.nUnderstanding of networking concepts
n
(TCP/IP, DNS) and web technologies (SSL/TLS).
n
Technical Proficiency
n
Working knowledge of AWS cloud environments.nFamiliarity with other cloud environments
n
(e.g., Azure, GCP) and a desire to learn modern cloud‑native architectures.nBasic competency in scripting or coding
n
(e.g., Bash, Python, or PowerShell).nUnderstanding of database basics
n
(SQL, NoSQL) and how applications interact with data stores.nUnderstanding of
n
CI/CD concepts and deployment tools (e.g., CloudFormation, Ansible, or Terraform) is considered a strong asset.
n
Analytical & Communication Skills:
n
Strong interest in root‑cause analysis and a proactive approach to learning complex systems.nEffective communication skills
n
(written and verbal) for interacting with technical teams and documenting processes.nAbility to work effectively in a team‑oriented, collaborative environment.

Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, for conveying complex technical information to both technical and non‑technical audiences.nProven ability to contribute to support projects and initiatives,
with a strong focus on customer satisfaction, teamwork, and collaboration.

Experience using the

AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK)

for infrastructure as code.nIntroductory competency in scripting or coding (e.g., Bash, Python, or PowerShell).nAdvanced proficiency in

Python for developing or troubleshooting backend logic.nFamiliarity with modern

CI/CD pipelines
