Join Morinville Fire Services as Deputy Chief of Operations & Logistics to lead fire service operations and logistics strategies. This is a permanent full time role focused on community safety and emergency management. The Town of Morinville is seeking a dedicated Deputy Chief to oversee fire hall operations and align service delivery with community needs.

Ideal candidates will have at least ten years of fire service experience, including five years in a supervisory role. Your expertise in managing logistics, fleet services, and emergency response will be critical as you support the department’s mission to enhance community safety. Key Responsibilities:

- Direct daily fire hall operations per NFPA standards
- Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management
- Manage fleet services and preventative maintenance programs
- Respond to emergencies as Incident Commander
- Develop departmental policies and procedures Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years fire service experience
- NFPA 1001 Level 2 qualifications required
- Valid Alberta Class 3 driver’s license
- CPR Level “C” and Standard First Aid certifications
- Strong budgeting and staffing administration skills Lead and mentor within Morinville Fire Services while ensuring community safety and operational excellence.
