nSooke Harbour House is seeking a reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented Dishwasher / Steward to support our kitchen operations. As an iconic oceanfront boutique hotel and dining destination on Vancouver Island, we pride ourselves on exceptional hospitality, elevated dining experiences, and a collaborative team culture.nThis is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in cleanliness, works well in a fast-paced environment, and wants to be part of an exciting new chapter at one of British Columbia’s most recognized hospitality properties.n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment efficiently and safely
n
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dish pit, kitchen floors, storage areas, and garbage/recycling stations
n
- Assist with receiving and putting away deliveries as needed
n
- Support kitchen team with basic prep tasks when required
n
- Ensure sanitation standards and health & safety procedures are followed at all times
n
- Keep work areas clean, tidy, and ready for service periods
n




- Work closely with chefs and kitchen team to ensure smooth operations
n

n

What We’re Looking For

n

n
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
n
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment
n
- Reliable, punctual, and team-focused
n
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
n
- Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience is an asset, but not required
n
- Willingness to learn and grow within hospitality operations
n
