YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:

nReporting to the Engineering Lead, Energy & Infrastructure, you will be part of the Energy and Infrastructure Department. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved, while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s culture, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the workplace.n

- Ensure adequate power distribution at site at all times (up to 13,8 kV distribution);
n
- Design new electrical installations and modifications to the existing infrastructure;
n
- Coordinate larger project’s electrical design with external engineering firms;
n
- Participate in creating new tracking tools and reports;
n
- On site support of the maintenance and construction crews;
n
- Ensure the respect of the standards in all site’s electrical installations;
n
- Track electrical consumption of various infrastructures.
n

nWHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEEDn

n
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering;
n
- Active registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) in a Canadian province or territory;
n
- Ten (10) years of experience in electrical engineering;
n
- Knowledge of the CSA C22, M421, Z462, Z463 and the Nunavut Mine Health and Safety Regulations is considered an asset;
n
- Solid understanding of mining construction project lifecycle;
n
- Have relevant experience in the underground mining industry.
n

nNote that the official working language at Meadowbank Complex is English.n

Your Work Schedule:

- Schedule: 14 days of work, followed by 14 days for transportation and rest;
n
- Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides charter flights to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.
