The normal work schedule is on a rotation of 6 weeks: 3 weeks worked (77 hours per week, 7 days a week) followed by 3 weeks of rest.

Summary of responsibilities
n
Reporting to the project geologist, the technician will assist the exploration team with field work, core drilling and diamond drilling. The technician will be responsible for:

- Verifying the location of drill sites prior to drilling
- Check the alignment of the drills.
- Carry out gyroscopic soundings
- Inspect the various drilling sites (health and safety) and verify the application of environmental regulations.
- Participate in targeted sampling campaigns;
- Prepare samples for shipment to the laboratory;
- Receive and store boxes of drill core;
- Perform technical work at the core shack, measure and capture RQD data and core footage;
- Perform geophysical data acquisition (MPP probe) on drill core;
- Participate in various field campaigns as required;
- Perform any other tasks that the Project Geologist deems necessary to ensure the efficient conduct of exploration activities.
Requirements
- The candidate must hold a Diploma of Collegial Studies (DEC) in Mining Technology, Geology option or equivalent. Relevant experience in the field of exploration could be considered;
- Possess a minimum of 2 years of skilled experience in exploration;
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Suite software;
- Bilingualism in French and English;
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing;
- Hold a valid driver’s license.
