Kentville Pediatrics is a busy medical practice in Kentville, NS providing pediatric consultant healthcare. We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team in the role of full-time Medical Office Administrative Assistant.

Our Medical Office

nAdministrators are an important part of our team, providing assistance to our 6 physicians. They ensure an efficient and professional operation of the clinic and are crucial to supporting patient care. This is a full-time permanent position and is 35.5 hours per week.n

Reporting to the office manager you will follow office procedures to provide optimal administrative support to our physicians and meet the needs of the clinic.

- Provide friendly, enthusiastic, professional service
n
- Answer telephones, greet patients, and answer questions
n
- Schedule appointments and coordinate provider's schedules
n
- Process personal health information accurately and confidentially using EMR system (Accuro)
n
- Handling incoming and outgoing correspondence
n
- MSI billings
n
- Fax/copy/scan
n
- Other daily administrative tasks
n

nQualifications and Requirements:nn




- Completion of a one year MOA diploma or equivalent required
n
- Highly proficient in use of common office software and experience using an EMR (Accuro) an asset
n
- Organization, multitasking and decision making abilities required
n
- Excellent communication with interpersonal skills required
n
- 1+ years working in a medical office an asset
n
- Criminal record and vulnerable sector check required
n
