Position Title: Registered Counselling Therapist or Social Worker - MSW - Clinical Specialist

- Location: Lifemark Physiotherapy Sackville Sports Stadium (409 Glendale Drive, Lower Sackville, NS, B4C 2T6)
- Status: Full Time and Part Time Hours available
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm
- Location type: Hybrid model with presence in Lower Sackville, NS required
- Category: Clinic Operations
- Experience: 1-3 yrs of clinical experience as a Registered Counselling Therapist or Social Worker

Our Lifemark Physiotherapy Sackville Sports Stadium clinic is bright, spacious, easy to access and located just inside the front doors of the Sackville Sports Stadium. We have a pool and full gym at our disposal for more complex and comprehensive multidisciplinary rehabilitation planning.n

We have a team of healthcare professionals dedicated to providing early and effective services. Services include physiotherapy, massage therapy, mental health services, and more, to assist with the treatment, management, and prevention of injuries.

About This Role

As a colleague, you will experience the following support:

- Specialty Services: Explore exciting specialty mental health services, including evidence‑based treatment such as CBT, ACT, CPT, DBT, EMDR, and PE.

Your Day-to-Day

- Provide counselling services to clients referred privately, by employers, by various insurance companies, and other third‑party organizations such as Workers Compensation Board (WCB)



and Partners in Canadian Veterans Rehabilitation Services (PCVRS), to address psychosocial problems related to injury, trauma, and mental illness.
- Adopt a goal‑focused, therapeutic approach for alleviating distress and improving social and occupational functioning.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team conferences to discuss clients’ treatment plans and goals, the progress made to date, and any barriers to treatment.
- Deliver quality reporting and effective communication with all stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes utilizing e‑charting software.
- Stay updated on the latest evidence‐based practices and seek professional development.
