This position is responsible for the enforcement of the Lot Maintenance and Parking By-laws. You will patrol assigned areas of the municipality to monitor adherence to City parking by-laws, identify violations of these by-laws and issue violation tags.

You will also enforce vehicle removal (towing).Key Qualifications: Completion of College Diploma in Protection, Security & Investigations or related field.

1 year experience in municipal related administration of by-law enforcement or equivalent.

n

Valid, unrestricted Class G Driver’s Licence.

n

Knowledge of various by-laws.

n

Knowledge of compliance with Lot Maintenance by-law, penalty notices and the AMPS for review of penalty notices Ability to communicate effectively to advise the public of violations and direction for alternative parking.

Valuable organizational and time management skills to prioritize workload.

Teamwork and cooperation.This is a seasonal, unionized position working 35 hours per week from approximately April to October and the rate of pay is $36.42 per hour, with eligibility for enrolment in the OMERS Pension Plan.Please apply by uploading a current resume and cover letter.
