Russell Meadows Retirement Community is looking for compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Workers (PSWs) or Unregulated Care Workers (UCWs) to join our team. Responsibilities:
Deliver personalized care and assistance with daily living activities.
Collaborate with nurses and healthcare professionals to ensure residents' well-being.
Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe setting.
Engage residents in social and recreational activities.
Assist with mobility and dressing as needed.
Review, document, and communicate relevant information about residents.
Adhere to company policies, training protocols, and regulatory standards.
Requirements:
Experience in home care, senior care, or a related field is an asset
A compassionate attitude and a genuine interest in senior care.
Ability to obtain a vulnerable sector check.
Capability to handle physical tasks using proper techniques.
Strong team collaboration skills.
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Certification or training in caregiving is advantageous.
Shifts available: Day (7 am to 3 pm) and Evening (3 pm to 11 pm). Night (11pm to 7am)
Compensation based on experience, qualifications and scheduled shifts.
