POSITION SUMMARY The Carpenter is responsible for performing skilled construction work, including framing, assembly, installation, and finishing tasks. The role contributes to the efficient, safe, and high-quality completion of projects in collaboration with the construction team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

n

- Assist with site preparation: setup, installation, and cleanup of work areas
n
- Perform general construction work (framing, formwork, assembly, light demolition, basic finishing, etc.)
n
- Read and interpret basic plans and follow instructions from the foreman or project manager
n
- Assist with handling, loading, and transporting materials and equipment (including safe operation of a forklift or other machinery, if certified)
n
- Properly use manual and power tools (drill, saw, hammer, level, measuring tape, etc.)
n




- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) standards at all times
n
- Identify potential risks in office and adopt safe work practices
n
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workspaces
n
- Collaborate effectively with team members
n
- Perform any other related duties as required
n

nREQUIRED PROFILE & EXPERIENCEn

n
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in the construction field
n
- Vocational diploma (DEP or equivalent) in construction, carpentry, or a related field (asset)
n
- Good knowledge of tools and basic construction techniques
n
- Ability to read basic plans (important asset)
n
- Good physical condition (manual labor, lifting, outdoor work)
n
- Autonomous, resourceful, and responsible
n
- Proactive attitude with strong attention to quality work
n
- Ability to work in a team and follow instructions
n
- Punctual and reliable
n
- Bilingualism (asset)
n
- Must reside in Canada and be legally authorized to work
n

- Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
