Job Description:
Location: Parksville, British Columbia
The Auto Body Technician is responsible for structural and non-structural repairs, and will disassemble, repair, and reassemble each vehicle. The Auto Body Technician will work with all team members in achieving quality repairs and 100% customer satisfaction
Key Job Responsibilities
- Repair damage to vehicle body panels
- Vehicle disassembly and reassembly
- Repair or replace interior and exterior parts, electrical components, and vehicle accessories
- Remove and install welded and sectioned parts to a vehicle
- Assess and repair structural components of a vehicle
- Use of frame equipment
- Take responsibility for outcomes and continuously seek learning opportunities to improve performance
Minimum Education and/or Experience Required for the Job
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of Post-Secondary Education in an Auto Body Repair Program
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Minimum 3 years of Auto Body Technician experience
- Welding experience (MIG, TIG welding)
- Red Seal
- I-Car Registered
Pay: $90,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
