Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving growth by identifying new business opportunities, building robust client relationships, and developing strategic partnerships that align with the company’s long-term goals. This role combines market research, sales strategy, and relationship management to expand the company’s market presence and revenue.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in oil and gas services and railway logistics/repairs to make a real impact in a growing a great organization.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities in target markets.
- Develop and implement business development strategies that align with company objectives.
- Conduct market analysis to understand industry trends, competitive landscapes, and customer needs.
- Prepare detailed proposals, presentations, and bids to secure new contracts and partnerships.
- Build and maintain solid, long-term relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop lead-generation campaigns.




- Negotiate and close complex business deals that maximize value for both the client and the company.
- Work closely with internal departments (e.g., operations, finance) to align business development efforts with company capabilities.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and prepare regular reports for senior leadership.

Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience in tank cleaning and mobile steam boilers and other industrial field services
- Strong industry relationships
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and act on market opportunities.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Occasional travel required for client meetings, industry events, and conferences.
