What You’ll Do

As a Summer Building Custodian, a large part of your duties will be undertaking grounds maintenance such as removing debris, removing weeds and tidying gardens, sweeping and cleaning walkways. You will be an important part of the facilities team by performing various essential cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dumping garage and recycle bins, performing all cleaning aspects of offices, board rooms, restrooms, lunchroom and public areas as well as washing walls and windows.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

- Excellent attention to detail, enjoy working outside and don’t mind getting your hands a bit dirty.
- Previous cleaning experience is an asset.
- You will be required to work with others, therefore excellent people skills and a positive attitude is essential.
- Basic computer knowledge is also a requirement.

Pay: the starting rate of pay is $23.00 per hour

Hours: 35 hours in a weekly period.

Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm, includes a 1-hour unpaid meal break. The schedule is subject to change.
