Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Roofer and labourer to join our team. The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in a wide range of roofing systems, including residential and commercial projects. This role involves installing, repairing, and replacing various roofing types with a strong focus on quality workmanship and safety.

Responsibilities

- Install and repair asphalt shingles and steel shingle roofing systems
- Install steel sheet roofing and standing seam metal roofing
- Perform installation and maintenance of flat roofing systems; PVC, EPDM
- Conduct roof inspections to assess damage and recommend solutions
- Complete roof repairs, full replacements, and new roof installations
- Remove old roofing materials and prepare surfaces for new installations
- Ensure all work meets building codes, safety standards, and company quality expectations
- Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean job site

Requirements

- Proven experience in roofing
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Must have own transportation to Bobcaygeon
- Basic personal tools




- Valid Working at Heights certificate

Preferred Skills

- Experience with standing seam metal roofing systems
- Familiarity with PVC and EPDM membrane installation techniques
- Ability to troubleshoot leaks
- Leadership experience for crew lead roles (if applicable)
- Knowledge of multiple roofing systems: shingles, metal, and flat roofs
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Valid driver’s license (preferred)
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks
- Safety certifications (e.g., Working at Heights) are an asset
