Job Description

MECHANIC – TRUCK /HEAVY EQUIPMENT

Location: [Campbellton Regional Community]

Immediate Supervisor: Shop Foreman

Employment Status: Permanent, Full-time

Salary: up to $32/hour

Benefits: pension plan, group insurance (health, life, disability), paid leave, annual vacation, uniforms and tools allowance, ongoing training.

Requirements

HOW YOU WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Perform preventive maintenance and mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs on fleet.

Diagnose issues and recommend effective solutions.

Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with the team to prioritize work and minimize downtime.

Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.

WHAT YOU BRING

-
Diploma in Heavy-Duty Vehicle Mechanics (or recognized equivalent).

-
Relevant experience in Truck & Transport mechanics.

-
Journey person certification or on your way to completion.

Reliability, autonomy, teamwork, and attention to detail.
