Position Details: Permanent Part Time

Route: Cnr 6 - Mikado & South into Canora - Assigned to Yorkton Bus Garage

The duties of a Bus Driver are to:

- Support safe, positive environments for students.
- Ensure student transportation is provided with due regard for safety.
- Provide supervision of students during transit and assist in supervision during boarding and unloading.
- Keep students on the bus until regular school supervision is provided.
- Other duties as assigned by the Principal or Transportation Manager and those listed in Job Description – Transportation: Bus Driver.

The successful candidate will have the desired qualifications:

- Minimum Grade 10 Education or equivalent
- A valid driver’s license with "S" endorsement.
- Clean drivers abstract.

Applicants not currently working for GSSD will be required to submit a recent (within the last six months) criminal record and vulnerable sector check acceptable to the Board of Education prior to offer of employment.
