Job SummarynThe AI Solution Architect is a strategic, hands‑on architecture role at the Bromont site and a key contributor to Teledyne’s collective AI Champions network. The role is responsible for designing, building, and operationalizing scalable AI solutions that integrate seamlessly with engineering, IT, OT, and manufacturing workflows.

Key Responsibilities
n
Define and own the AI solution architecture for Bromont, covering tools, platforms, agents, integrations, and governance.
n
Establish reference architectures for AI‑augmented software development, AI agents and workflow orchestration, and secure integration with enterprise and manufacturing systems (repositories, MES, QMS, ticketing, documentation).
n
Translate enterprise AI strategy into site‑ready architectures and roadmaps grounded in operational reality.
n
Design and evolve scalable AI platforms, ensuring reusability, composability, long‑term maintainability, auditability, and traceability.
n
Define patterns for model usage, prompt reuse, evaluation, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
n
Architect adoption of GitHub Copilot and other developer AI tools, from pilot to industrialized usage.
n
Define AI‑first development workflows for code generation, refactoring, automated testing, validation, documentation, changelogs, and release artifacts.
n
Build and govern reusable code, prompt, and agent libraries with security, licensing, and compliance considerations.
n
Architect and implement AI agents that assist engineering, IT, and OT teams, automate repetitive or error‑prone cognitive tasks, and integrate cleanly with existing systems.
n
Define agent orchestration patterns, access controls, and failure modes appropriate for industrial use.
n
Develop guardrails for AI usage in an IP‑sensitive, regulated manufacturing environment.
n
Collaborate with IT Security, Compliance, and AI Governance to ensure secure model and data usage, licensing and IP protection, data privacy, export control, and audit readiness.
n
Provide architectural feedback to enterprise AI governance based on Bromont deployments.
n
Enablement, coaching,
and AI community leadership: act as a multiplier, architect and deliver hands‑on labs, architecture workshops, reference implementations, demo repositories, and practical guidance for engineers, architects, and non‑coders.
n
Represent Bromont within the AI Champions community, sharing architectures, patterns, and lessons learned.
n

Qualifications & Experience
n
Strong software engineering background (Python, Java, or similar).
n
Proven experience designing end‑to‑end AI solutions and architectures.
n
Hands‑on experience with GitHub Copilot or equivalent developer AI tools at scale.
n
Familiarity with agent frameworks and orchestration platforms (LangChain, Hugging Face, or similar).
n
Experience integrating AI with enterprise systems via secure APIs.
n
Solid understanding of secure development practices, IP, and licensing constraints.
n
Ability to influence, mentor, and align stakeholders across disciplines.
n
Preferred / Differentiators
n
Experience deploying AI in industrial, manufacturing, or regulated environments.
n
Exposure to MLOps / ModelOps, evaluation, monitoring, and lifecycle governance.
n
Cloud and platform experience (Azure or AWS).
