The Fort McMurray Catholic Board of Education serves approximately 7,000 students in 13 schools. All schools offer a wide range of programming geared towards meeting the academic, cultural and spiritual needs of our community.

The Fort McMurray Roman Catholic Separate School Division is seeking the interest of teachers kindergarten to grade 12 including specializing in math, sciences and humanities for potential positions for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year.

Duties of teachers may include but, not limited to, the following:

- identify students’ individual and collective learning needs
- plan and deliver instruction based on student learning needs and special needs
- provide a stimulating learning environment in which each student can experience growth and develop to his or her potential
- help students learn appropriate knowledge, skills and attitudes.
- meet with parents
- evaluate and communicate student progress
- prepare and implement remedial programs for students requiring extra help
- meet with other professionals to discuss individual student needs and progress
- volunteer to supervise extracurricular and after-school activities
- attend meetings, seminars, and in-service training sessions.

What you bring:

- Must be eligible for Alberta Teacher Certification and hold a Bachelor of Education Degree
