Resolution Staffing Inc, is working in partnership with one of our valued and trusted clients in the Quinte area.
Our growing client has an immediate opening for a motivated and eager team member to join their team. This is a permanent full time opportunity. Our client offers a fantastic work environment, advantages and pension and room to grow.
As a Machine Operator, you will perform all aspects of material processing including feeding and forming raw materials into machine dies, operating extrusion machines under production and quality standards, maintaining quality standards, weighing material to meet quality and yield standards, cleaning equipment, maintaining a safe and clean environment while operating equipment at peak performance.
Requirements:
- Previous manufacturing experience is required, extruder or rewind experience would be an asset
- Strong mathematical skills
- Mechanically inclined
- Able to pass a criminal record check
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Read and interpret work orders
- Package and label finished product
- Ensure adherence to the quality system and health and safety programs
- Cross-train in other departments.
Requirements:
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment – must be able to adapt to change and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to lift 50lbs+ multiple times a day
- Ability to stand and/or walk continuously for 8-10 hours a day throughout the entire shift.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
