Maplesoft Group is currently seeking a Hybrid Senior Systems Developer for our client in Regina, SK.

As the Senior Systems Developer you will be a driving member of an integral team responsible for developing system-based solutions by formulating programs, developing and maintaining codes and documenting processes for consistency and continuous improvement. You will contribute to a range of highly complex and diverse team initiatives and provide training and support to the members of your team.

• Lead the process of developing a cohesive plan to determine technologies and options for a working solution.

• Develope new code and leverage existing code to implement system features of medium to large complexity.

• Create an implementation and troubleshooting plan for a single system.

• Identify and recommend solutions for application defects, determe root causes and minimize the introduction of new defects.

• Performe unit testing and project management activities for small, medium and large initiatives, leading system development project teams and providing guidance to all team members.

• Diploma or degree in Information Technology or Computer Science, with at least 7 years' experience in IT, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Strong understanding of technical components and interfaces to other applications.

• In-depth knowledge of multiple job-related programming languages, environments, tools, applications and the technologies used.

• Competent in various SDLC, delivery methodologies and architectural standards.

• Expertise in Visual Studio, C#, VB.NET, Microsoft MVC, ASP.NET, HTML, CSS jQuery and Java Script.

• Extensive experience with API integration, including, JSON, XML,



REST and SOAP and advanced knowledge of SQL Server including Transact-SQL.

• Familiarity with Azure API Management, Azure Dev Ops and Microsoft Azure Cloud.

• AI-assisted development (e.g., Git Hub Copilot), including prompt engineering and reusable prompts, with a strong understanding of secure, responsible AI use in regulated environments.

• You have an innovative mindset to improve operational efficiencies and ability to influence change, with a primary focus on client needs.

• You use critical thinking skills to recognize assumptions, evaluate arguments, draw conclusions and proactively propose solutions.

• You have strong communication skills to clearly convey messages and explore diverse points of view.

• You build trusting relationships and provide guidance to support the development of colleagues.

Salary Range: $72,847 to $121,411 per year
