Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accounting Manager located in Edmonton, AB. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing the company's financial operations, including preparing financial reports, managing budgets, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and supervising accounting staff. Duties will also include financial analysis, payroll management, accounts payable/receivable,



and collaborating with other departments to support organizational goals.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis
- Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll management
- Robust understanding of regulatory compliance and applicable accounting standards
- Leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor accounting staff
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in accounting software and tools, as well as Microsoft Excel
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA designation or equivalent is preferred
- Previous experience in residential construction or real estate accounting is an asset
