We are seeking an experienced Electrical and Automation Superintendent to lead our team and drive technical excellence. As the Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, continuous improvement, and implementation of our control systems, power distribution networks, and industrial robotics. Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of technicians. System Management: Oversee the preventative and predictive maintenance programs. Coordinate and execute electrical and automation projects. Provide expert-level troubleshooting support for complex electrical, controls, and robotic system failures. Identify and implement innovative automation and control system improvements. Champion a safety-first culture by ensuring all electrical and automation work is performed in strict compliance with safety regulations, codes, and company procedures. Serve as the facility's subject matter expert on all electrical and automation matters. Qualifications
Journeyman Electrician and Instrumentation Technician with Interprovincial Red Seal Certification. Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in industrial automation and electrical systems. Extensive, hands-on experience with Siemens PLC. Experience servicing and fault finding of induction heating equipment. Strong understanding of industrial controls, robotics, and safety systems within a manufacturing setting. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and maintenance management software (e.g., SAP).
