In this pivotal role, you will provide strategic oversight and direction to ensure compliance and maximize funding opportunities. Focus on building partnerships across K–12 and post-secondary education systems while offering sector-specific leadership grounded in Métis policy and rights. Collaborate internally and externally to enhance the Institute's mission of promoting Métis self-determination and scholarship.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage daily operations and report program compliance
• Develop partnerships with educational institutions
• Lead team recruitment and performance management
• Create quality assurance and data governance strategies
• Represent the Institute to senior stakeholders
Requirements:
• University degree with 3-5 years of experience
• Leadership in research or Indigenous governance
• Experience with Métis community engagement
• Robust project management and budgeting skills
• Deep knowledge of Métis rights and cultural policies
