We are seeking an experienced IT Procurement Specialist to support Court Technology Services (CTS) with the Government of Alberta. This is a remote role, but candidates must work from within Alberta due to network and data security requirements.

? Location: Edmonton, AB (Remote – Alberta residency required for work)

? Duration: 12 months + 24 month extension

✅ Must-Have Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Commerce, Public Administration, Social Sciences, Humanities, Science, Procurement, or related field.
- 5+ years – Leading complex competitive procurements (RFPs, NRFPs, RFIs, RFQs, RFXs), evaluations, debriefings, and contract negotiations.
- 8+ years – Contract drafting and management in a complex workplace.
- 8+ years – Advising internal clients, senior leadership, and cross-functional teams on procurement.




- 8+ years – Procuring goods/services under Canadian public sector entities (trade agreements, procurement legislation, contract law, GoA policies).
- 7+ years – Applying government trade agreements: NWPTA, CETA, CFTA, and/or CUSMA.

✨ Nice-to-Have:

- Certification: SCMP, CPPB, CPPO, CSPM or equivalent.
- 5+ years – Supporting digital transformation / modernization projects.
- 5+ years – Financial and risk assessment (cost models, contract risks, pricing structures).
- 5+ years – IT procurement (software, hardware, cloud services, cybersecurity tools, integrations, digital platforms).

? Additional Requirements:

- Standard criminal record check + Enhanced Security Clearance (coordinated by GoA)
- Mandatory training: FOIP Act, Security Awareness
