Overview

You are a Project Administrator who will provide clerical support to Project Coordinators and Project Managers and contribute to the efficient day-to-day operations of the site office. Your experience in Telecommunications enables you to support project quality initiatives and reporting. Location: Cambridge or Kitchener, ON.

Responsibilities

- Intakes all awarded work from client system in a timely and efficient manner to ensure contractual agreements are met
- Prepares purchase orders for sub-contractors with collaboration from the PMO team
- Accepts and updates all Statement of Work (SOW) orders from the client and is proficient in the systems where they are kept
- Collects and tracks documents needed for jobs by working closely with sub-contractors and the PMO team
- Communicates (written and oral) with all levels of management, clients, contractors, and visitors
- Carries out a wide range of diverse, sensitive, administrative, and operational duties for the PMO team
- Other duties as assigned, including special projects

Qualifications

- Minimum 1 year of experience in an administrative support role (construction, architectural, engineering and/or commercial development industry preferred)
- Experience working with a diverse team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer background including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and JD Edwards or other computer-based accounting systems
- Excellent customer service focus with ability to work collaboratively
- Superior organizational, coordination, and writing skills
- Independent, self-motivated and able to liaise with other departments and external sources
- Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and listening skills
- Reliable, professional,



able to maintain confidentiality and work with minimal supervision
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Work Conditions

- This is a position where you are expected to be in the office two times per week

Compensation

$46,800.00 - $64,350.00

This is the expected base pay range for this role. Individual base pay will be determined based on factors including experience, knowledge, skills, education and location. Our compensation and advantages package supports physical, mental, and financial wellbeing, with opportunities to develop skills and knowledge.
