This role is ideal for enthusiastic educators ready to make a difference over a week of in-person program delivery. You will also dedicate three initial planning days remotely. Candidates should be experienced with elementary students and be driven to support academic and emotional growth through interactive teaching methods.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead literacy and numeracy sessions for K-6 students
• Develop engaging student-centered learning approaches
• Coordinate outdoor education components into lessons
• Foster wellness and social-emotional strategies
• Collaborate with fellow educators and community partners
Requirements:
• Valid teaching certification or relevant qualifications preferred
• Experience with elementary students is necessary
• Familiarity with Science of Reading principles
• Solid communication and management skills
• Post-secondary education in child-related field preferred
